In my role I…

I help to support the people I manage on a day-to-day basis and help them to develop their capabilities in line with their business goals. I manage 25 people across the general consultancy career stream. The majority of people that I manage are at the AEA head office in Harwell, however I also have strong links with consultants in other locations. I also work alongside resourcing and project managers to help people to do the work that they want to do and help AEA to deliver business goals.

I love working with people as I find it really enjoyable when I see them developing their capabilities and doing the work that they enjoy and are passionate about.

The best thing about working at AEA…

The best thing is the flexibility to be able to work in and across a lot of different areas. It is fun working alongside people who feel strongly and who really enjoy the work that they do

I have learnt a lot about different environmental topics as well as how to get the best out of other people and myself.
