Our online application form has been designed to be convenient and easy to use. Please take great care with your application; it is your opportunity to tell us about yourself.

Take time to browse through the application form, so that you know which questions you will need to prepare for. You may wish to prepare off-line and copy/paste your answers onto the form.

Do be aware that some email providers give the option of screening out junk emails. Check that you have junk mail filtering disabled so that you receive all communications in relation to your application - you may be able to reset the filter to allow specific emails through.

Once you submit your application form we will acknowledge its receipt immediately by e-mail. We will provide you with updates on your application at all stages of the process.

Remember to print out or save a copy of your completed application form for your own future reference.

Data Protection

The information you provide on this form will be used by AEA to progress your application for employment and, if your application is successful, to administer your personnel record. Before starting your online application and inputting your personal details, please read our Privacy Statement below which sets out the terms upon which you use this site. The Privacy Statement contains details of our policies regarding the use and collection of personal data.

By submitting an application on line, you consent to the terms of the Privacy Statement and agree to your personal data being held and used by us (AEA) as part of the recruitment process.

Privacy Statement

In relation to any personal data (including sensitive personal data) which you submit to us via the on-line application form and email addresses as part of an application ("application data") the following will apply.

In acknowledging an application we are not verifying the content, accepting the application or making any offer of employment or engagement. We are not obliged to accept any applications.

By submitting such application data you are agreeing to that application data being processed for the purposes of:

1.  Communication regarding your recruitment/prospective employment between us (AEA) and yourself
2. 
The provision of the services of Taleo functionality allows candidates to upload commonly asked personal details into an online application form. 

To process your application we may pass any information you submit to any of our offices or any of our affiliates, agents or appointed representatives.

Confidentiality

We acknowledge that your application data and any other information, which we may obtain about you is confidential. We will maintain your confidentiality and protect your information in accordance with our normal procedures and all applicable laws.

We will not disclose your information to any other third party unless for recruitment purposes or required to do so by law or regulators.

You have the right to access and the right to rectify your personal data held by us, whether submitted as part of an application or otherwise, by sending us a written request to the following address: Recruitment Team, AEA, 329 Harwell, Didcot, Oxfordshire.  OX11 OQJ.  There is a statutory charge of £10 for administering such a request.

Occasionally third parties may provide IT storage services to us. In those circumstances those third parties shall be required to enter into a confidentiality agreement on no less stringent terms than contained in this privacy statement and to process your data solely in accordance with our instructions.
