AEA Knowledge Leader, Colin McNaught, will be providing expert insight into Scotland's microgeneration market at a new policy conference organised by SCDI, COSLA, SLAED and Aberdeen City Council. Taking place in Aberdeen on 21 June, the event's title is: 'Empowering Scotland: Maximising the Potential of Public Assets for Low Carbon Energy'.
As part of a scene-setting session Colin will be presenting data from the latest AEA Microgeneration Index. Based on Ofgem data and AEA's own research, the AEA Microgeneration Index reveals the take up of microgeneration technology across the UK and shows the speed of small scale renewable installations in each council area. The event will feature an exclusive report assessing Scottish microgeneration.

- Discuss the latest information on the new regulatory environment and incentives
- Link energy efficiency commitments and costs to generation of new revenue sources
- Share learning about working with developers, suppliers and sources of expertise
